Short answer (Part 1)

This question has come in so many times from so many people that I have decided to post an answer for all. I am amazed at the amount of interest. The answer is very short. Scripture does not record the names of the two men. We simply don’t know. I usually tell people that when they get to heaven they can at least look up the good thief and ask him his name then.
