Think how jealous Satan must be of God. He can’t create anything. He doesn’t know everything. He can’t be everywhere at once. He’s a poor excuse for a “wanna be” but he keeps plugging along on the itty bitty power that mankind gives him by believing in his lies. His final end is not so glorious either. He will be “cast into the lake of fire and brimstone” and “will be tormented day and night forever and ever.” (Revelation 20:10)

As more and more evil erupts upon the earth we need to keep things in perspective. We can get overwhelmed easily if we forget who is in charge. God is! Satan has to get permission for everything he wants to do. It must be doubly humiliating for him that in the end, all of it will only play into God’s hands and God’s plans.

Why bother fussing and fretting on the activities of the evil one? No, I’m not suggesting burying your head in the sand. You do need to stay up to date with your armor (Ephesians 6) and your resisting techniques, but let your eyes rest only on the GREAT ONE. Almighty God – El-Shaddai – Elohim – Adonai.

Meditate on all that God is and concentrate your praise and worship on him alone. When you know the ONE why waste your time on the Big Zero?
