Nehemiah was called out of captivity to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. His name means “Yahweh Comforts” which is one reason this master builder and organizer is often viewed as a type of the Holy Spirit. Nehemiah, as Governor of Jerusalem, was a passionate intercessor and highly organized leader.
